Multiple 3d models using various software: Space Engineers, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and SketchUp Pro.
Space engineers
I use Space Engineers as my main digital asset creation software. In "creative mode" it functions similarly to a solid modeler and allows me to create all different kinds of vehicles with it's realistic physics engine. The backgrounds in the screenshots below are software default, not personally created by me.
I was first introduced to Solidworks when I was eight years old and still occasionally use it to keep up my skills.
1.
Practice piece
One of my earliest creations using extrusion and chamfer tools.
Fusion 360
Fusion 360 is my preferred professional design software for creating real world models.
1.
Straight wing prototype
This is a prototype of a working wing that I designed and 3D printed for a college project. It has functional flaperons.
2.
SWEPT WING PROTPTYPE
This is a prototype of a swept wing that I designed as part of a college project.
Trimble SketchUp
SketchUp is a recent addition to my portfolio. I own a licence of the Pro version and also use the educational version at college.
1.
Ginninderry House
I created this 3D model of the house that my family is building at Gininderry so we can do virtual walkthroughs to help with material and design choices. This demonstrates my ability to create a extremely accurate 3D model from a 2D floor plan.
2.
Urban Design
A streetscape design for a college project which demonstrates my ability to use the software. Each house has completed interior design and is fully furnished.
