Radkampfwagen (German for Wheeled Chariot) also started out as a college project. It was originally developed as a "firefighting vehicle" but once home it was converted into a personal sized armored car. This project is still in progress. I welded the full metal frame from bar stock and formed the steel turret ring circle by hand. It is armed with a 30mm air pressure cannon that fires homemade armor piercing, fin stabilized, discarding sabot shells. The battery operated air compressor mounted in the back of its turret provides infinite propellant.
